We discovered this old-skool car during our Aden city trips. It's Salim's car, our favorite taxi driver. Indeed an old car but working 'properly' for the need of speed to drive us around. More sories about funny Salim to come...It's a blurred white coloured old Toyota Corolla with a rusty roof rack (imperial) and a heart shaped decoration on the inside mirror with arabic blesses written on it. Speaking of hanging objects, actually the rear bumper is only tied up with a few ropes to hold it on. The rear left door is not 'openable' due to technical failure... Well, most of the taxis in Aden are in a similar condition or worse. Despite their rusty appearance, the most important part of a car in Aden is a horn that works to enable you to 'scream' loud enough on the streets.
Anyhow, with its funny talkative driver behind the steering wheel, this car is our most favorable car!
